All eyes today are set to India, the country holds the enormous window of opportunity for all smartphones retailers to sprouts extraordinary. The state has 33% smartphone penetration.
In all likelihood, that’s the reason why Nokia has intentionally trying to set up its market in bother smartphone segment and “feature” phone.
Nokia released several phones last years such as Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 all under the Android hood.
Towards the end of last month, Nokia 1 (INR 5499) with Android Go Edition in India was officially by HMD Global. And today Nokia Company has released its lineup, i.e., Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6( 2018) and Nokia 8 Sirocco in India. The HMD Global which owns the brand name Nokia can sell devices under it.
Features of these new devices
1. Nokia 8 Sirocco: This is the company’s flagship for the first a half of this year. It has Snapdragon soc under the hood, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, 3260mAh battery with Quick charge 4.0. It also has a P-OLED 5.5″ display with 16:9 form factor. It comes with 12MP Dual rear camera setup with Carl Zeiss optics, and dual tone LED flash. The front and back glass panels are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has a telephoto lens which offers 2X optical zoom and the primary lens provided OIS.
- Nokia 7 Plus: The device comes with; Snapdragon 660 Soc, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 12MP Dual camera at the back and 16MP selfie camera, No IOS, 6.0″ full HD including 18:9 aspect display ratio and 360 spatial system. The device is sold by HMD Global INR 25,999.
- Nokia 6 (2018): This is the updated version of the handset launched last year. It comes with 4GB/3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, 8MP front and 16MP rear cameras, Aluminum clad with Snapdragon 630 SoC, sports a 5.5″ full HD IPS display, Bluetooth 5.0 and 3000mAh with quick charging. It costs INR 16,999 and starts selling from April 6.
The three devices run with Android One accompanied by features like face unlocking.
