Apple knew Iphone 6 would bend but released it anyway

Internal Apple documents which were recently released disclosed that the Apple company was aware that their iPhone 6 and 6 plus will bend than previous models via Motherboard.

According to court’s documents, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has some internal problems even though the Apple Apple has never said that the phones have a bending issues, and maintains that position, despite these models commonly being plagued with “touch disease,” a flaw that causes the touchscreen to work intermittently that the repair community say is a result of bending associated with normal use.

Court documents have also shown that the iPhone 6 was 3.3 times more likely to happen than the iPhone 5S, while the larger iPhone 6 Plus was 7.2 times more likely to bend.

Apple declared that there were very rare phones bent iPhones even going to an extent of inviting multiple media outlets to its campus to witness how the rigorously test their products.

As noted by Judge Koh, Apple then began to make internal changes to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus design, adding extra epoxy to strengthen the area underneath that chip in May 2016, despite that Apple still refused to publicly acknowledge that there were any iPhone 6 bending issues.
